Gary is a site manager who has delivered a multitude of key projects for Murphy’s onetime, on budget with lofty quality finishes. Over 24 years in the building industry, Gary has built expertise in site management, safety supervision, onside quality management and environmental impact control. From an architectural perspective the attention to detail and high quality workmanship is key to their success. These jobs all involved restoration, alterations and additions. This was designed and built by the specialist scaffolders of Murphy’s Access Solutions. Murphy’s project team all worked together to successfully deliver the project both on and off site. The mend and upgrade of the Paddington Town Hall and Clock Tower needed both conscientious attention to detail and extensive knowledge of and aptitude in the expansive range of works involved in restoring a large heritage listed building in a lofty profile area. Murphy’s project, safety site manager all consulted together produced a Project Safety Management Plan (pimp) which was implemented for the works. Since the site was a live site and Ausgrid contractors where using the facility from time to time, Murphy’s established a Pedestrian Traffic Management plan to implement throughout the works. Due to the lofty risks associated with the project Active with Asbestos, Working at Heights, Occupied in a live substation, Murphy’s assigned a specific team to the works. Murphy’s, occupied in consultation with Ausgrid project staff, analyses risks for the project and rehearsed controls through a suite of documents including a Project Specific Management Plan, Safe Labor Method Statements (sums) and a plant movement plan. An asbestos removal plan was created and implemented, identifying asbestos materials and specifying controls. The project required the replacement of the roof and internal works. Murphy’s accredited Safety Management System was worn to bear the procedures and methods to controlling the safety risks on the project. The work was completed without safety issues. With the development and implementation of the site safety management plan and work methods. Project work completed on time and on budget. Over 24 years in the building industry, Gary has built expertise in site management, safety supervision, onside quality management and environmental impact control. Murphys are licensed asbestos removalists and will apply the required level of safety controls for the removal of the material to receive place. Murphy’s have the ability to design and install height safety access systems including: Works include replacing damaged roof timbers and the ingenious slate roof, mend of limp stonework and cracked brickwork, replacing down pipes and hoppers, graffiti removal and repainting. The complete project works were carried out in accordance with the designs of the specifications of the project heritage architect who inspected and approved the finished works.
